Formologix was delighted to be part of MBloc Design Week 2023 : “Daur Rupa” Exhibition which showcased the exploration project that mediated through AI-powered video morphing. The project was a fiction project that aim to explore the potential of integrating AI into the design process. The project try to showcased how architects and designers can efficiently iterate, explore, evaluate, and refine design alternation. AI’s ability to generate vast datasets and simulate complex scenarios can significantly enhance multiple design idea that might catalyse the decision-making process in design projects.

Through this showcase, Formologix believes, it’s important to recognize that while AI can be a valuable tool, it should complement architect’s/designer’s creativity and expertise rather than replace it. Architects, designers, and planners still play a crucial role in setting design goals, aesthetics, and overall vision. AI should be seen as an aid in the design process, helping professionals make more informed decisions and explore design alternatives efficiently.
Probably this is the best timing of AI integration in our creative process. It may make sense to gradually involving AIs while they are evolving. Regardless, considering AI as a design partner can lead to more innovative, efficient, and sustainable outcomes in the built environment.
